CAS(E) Challenge #67

This is my second post for today...there may be more...

First I'd like to say a big CONGRATULATIONS
to Maureen on joining the design team at
She is such a talented lady! I have learned so much from
her on how to create a CAS card!!

Here is the sketch for the challenge

and here is my card based on the sketch

I am really loving the color combination of real red and
coastal cabana. I know they are not your traditional
colors for Christmas but they do look great together. I'm not
sure why I decided to make this a Christmas card as
nothing about this card is 'Christmasy' except the stamping
and using red, but I'm really happy with how it turned out.

supplies:
card stock: whisper white
dsp: fresh prints paper stack
stamp set: merry merry (recollections), gorgeous grunge,
      clockworks
ink: coastal cabana, real red
punch: scalloped tag topper
embellishments: whisper white baker's twine

Happy Stampin'
and thank you for visiting!

Kristie - This is the first time ever I have been making Christmas cards so early in the year - I think all the cold weather has made it easier to do :)
