Merry Monday Challenge #91

It's time again for another Merry Monday challenge.
Last weeks challenge was so much fun. The ladies over at
Merry Monday are so welcoming, friendly and encouraging.
I am thrilled to say that I was given honorable mention
for the card I entered.

Thank you to all the designers of Merry Monday.

This weeks challenge is a fun theme - to use a snowman or
snowpeople on your card.

I looked through my stash and discovered that I don't own
a snowman stamp - not even one! What? I find that odd, really odd
because I LOVE snowmen but for some reason I've never bought one.
I'll have to remedy that.  So, I borrowed a couple from a friend to play with.

I really struggled with this one, but in the end, I'm happy with how it turned out.

recipe:
card stock: whisper white, crumb cake, cherry cobbler, gumball green
dsp: season of style dsp stack
ink: stazon, cherry cobbler, basic black, baked brown sugar,
gumball green, pumpkin pie, tangerine tango
doilie, basic pearls, cherry cobbler baker's twine,
scallop edge border punch, dimensionals

Great card, Susan!! I can't believe you didn't have any snowmen stamps. ;) Happens to me all the time though. This is a cute image. Thank you for joining us again this week at Merry Monday!!!

Thank you Ladies! Kristie, I was really surprised by that too because as my family will attest to - I seem to collect snowmen when it comes to christmas decorations - so why not stamps?? I am definitely planning on remedying the snowman situation this year!
I've always liked that stamp because of how you can color in the letters. I like what you've done with it to match your designer paper in the background. Awesome card! And rectify that lack of snowmen immediately!

Love your snowman card with the pretty doily & papers! Congrats on your Honorable Mention last week too! Thanks for playing along with us this week over at Merry Mondays! :)
I'm with you, I don't have very many snowman stamps either this year for some reason! Your snowman looks great layered over the doily and I love the sponging! Thanks for playing Merry Monday this week!

Beautiful card. Love the little snowman head. Great
Really nice card! I loved that stamp set but sadly held out too long and missed out on getting it. How nice of your friend to loan it to you so you could make such a fabulous card! love the polka dot dsp too.
